Did you know it’s World Immunization Week?

Despite my youthful looks (tongue-in-cheek), I remember only too well my early days on the wards in the UK as a junior doctor in the mid to late 80’s before many of the Immunizations we use today, seeing children in huge distress and dying from illnesses that are preventable today due to advances in immunisation. Consequently, I encourage everybody to learn more about immunisation, including busting the myths around it, especially during World Immunization Week.

SPECIAL IMMUNISATION CLINIC AT HSA

HSA already provide immunisation free of charge if you follow the Cayman schedule but they have an extra clinic organised this Saturday to mark the occasion. You can contact the Public Health Department on 244-2648 for more information.
